Galapagos - Where Darwin's Theory Evolved.

As Charles Darwin discovered, there's no place on Earth quite like the Galapagos islands. Approximately 620 miles off the coast of South America, this archipelago was formed by titanic geothermic upheavals that created volcanic islands, some of which are still in the throes of creation today.

 


Nineteen islands and 40 islets make up the archipelago, and each holds a bizarre collection of wildlife, including species found nowhere else in the world.
